Fronteriza

“Fronteriza” focuses on women artists living in Texas who contemplate the U.S. Mexico border through their art. Participating artists are Melissa Gámez-Herrera, Karla García, Sara Herrera, Tina Medina, Analise Minjarez, Eliana Miranda, Tesa Morin, Lupita Murillo Tinnen, and Sarita Westrup.

“Fronteriza” se enfocará en mujeres artistas que viven en Texas y que contemplan la frontera entre México y Estados Unidos a través de su arte. Los artistas participantes serán Tina Medina, Karla García, Eliana Miranda, Lupita Murillo Tinnen, Analise Minjarez, Sarita Westrup, Tesa Morin y Melissa Gámez- Herrera.

The collective provides opportunities to support the surrounding community to collaborate to provide information and resources.

Dreamers Mercado

Nuestra collective worked with Break Bread, Break Borders and the Oak Cliff Cultural Center to facilitate a community conversation about difficult topics such as immigration.

Nuestra collaborated to curate and install an exhibition that included artworks related to immigration and the Mexico/U.S. border.
